Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the most popular treks in Nepal with plenty opportunities to experience the local culture of Nepal and jaw dropping scenery.
The trek is possible all around the year and anybody with good health/shape can do this trek. While taking this trek you come across some of the most unforgettable beautiful snow peaks and gorges.
There are very few places in the world where you can merely walk up to an altitude of 18,000 ft and the Everest base camp is one of them.
Upon reaching Namche Bazar you can get a straight look at the mother of all mountains, the highest point on this earth, the highest of the high, Mt Everest standing tall at 8,848 metres (29,029 ft) above sea.
Here we pray with the local Sherpas to ask mother nature for good weather and friendly winds because nothing like a clear day in Kalapatthar exists in the world.
Mallory’s lake at Gorakshep is also an enticing experience.
