Land of Maharajas leads you through some of the exciting cities of Rajasthan, as well as unlocking a few hidden gems which lie slightly off the well known route.

The Thar Desert and Aravalli Hills combine to create a stunning visual backdrop to this journey.

Day 1: Arrive Delhi (No Meals)

  • Arrive Delhi On arrival at the airport, meet your Tour Executive who will assist you to transfer to the hotel for two nights stay in Delhi.
  • Stay at: Taj Princess – Delhi

Day 2: Delhi (Breakfast, Dinner)

  • Day sightseeing tour of the city which possesses a combination of eight cities within her boundaries. Visit Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid and India Gate and enjoy a rickshaw ride at Chandni Chowk before we drive past the Red Fort and the Parliament and President House.
  • Stay at: Taj Princess – Delhi

Day 3: Delhi – Mandawa (Driving Time: Approx 6 hours) (Breakfast, Dinner)

  • Journey by road to Mandawa, named “The Open-Air Art Gallery of Rajasthan”. In the afternoon visit Mandawa Fort and the intricately carved and elegantly painted Havelis.Stay overnight at Mandawa.
  • Stay at: Sara Vilas – Mandawa

Day 4: Mandawa – Bikaner (Driving Time: Approx 4 hours) (Breakfast, Dinner)

  • Travel to Bikaner, centre of art and culture of medieval India. In the afternoon visit the well preserved 16th century Junagarh Fort and Lallgarh Palace. Stay overnight at Bikaner.
  • Stay at: Heritage Resort – Bikaner

Day 5: Bikaner – Jaisalmer (Driving Time: Approx 5 hours) (Breakfast, Dinner)

  • Travel to Jaisalmer, located deep in the heart of the Thar Desert. Witness exquisitely carved houses dating back to the 12th century and experience a medieval township caught in a time warp. Stay two nights at Jaisalmer.
  • Stay at: Deoki Niwas – Jaisalmer

Day 6: Jaisalmer (Breakfast, Dinner)

  • Full day sightseeing tour. Visit 15th century Jaisalmer Fort and well preserved palaces, elegantly carved Patwon Ki Haveli and Salim Singh Haveli and conclude your day with a camel ride over the Sand Dunes.
  • Stay at: Deoki Niwas – Jaisalmer

Day 7: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (Driving Time: Approx 4 hours) (Breakfast, Dinner)

  • Travel to Jodhpur and explore the rustic rural life of the locals wearing colourful multi-hued turbans and special mirror-jaded costumes. Stay two nights at Jodhpur.
  • Stay at: Mapple – Jodhpur

Day 8: Jodhpur (Breakfast, Dinner)

  • Jodhpur (B&D) Visit an old city surrounded by a 10km wall and its winding colourful street markets. The blue houses and beauty and grandeur of the numerous palaces narrate a saga of hard sandstone within Mehrangarh Fort.
  • Stay at: Mapple – Jodhpur

Day 9: Jodhpur – Ranakpur – Udaipur (Driving Time: Approx 6 hours) (Breakfast, Dinner)

  • Drive to Udaipur and stop midway to visit the Ranakpur Temples, famous for their 1,444 elegantly carved pillars, with no two being identical. Stay two nights at Udaipur.
  • Stay at: Golden Tulip – Ranakpur, Udaipur

Day 10: Udaipur (Breakfast, Dinner)

  • Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of this romantic city and visit City Palace, Jagdish Temple, the Museum, Jag Mandir and Saheliyon Ki Bari. In the evening go for sunset boat ride at Lake Pichola and explore the numerous shops that dot the narrow winding streets of Udaipur.
  • Stay at: Golden Tulip – Udaipur

Day 11: Udaipur – Pushkar (Driving Time: Approx 6 hours) (Breakfast, Dinner)

  • Journey through rural areas to Pushkar, a city famous for its annual camel fair. Explore Pushkar Lake and the bazaars of this small town. Stay overnight at Pushkar.
  • Stay at: Pushkar Fort – Pushkar

Day 12: Pushkar – Jaipur (Driving Time: Approx 3 hours) (Breakfast, Dinner)

  • Travel to Jaipur, known as the Pink City and famous for its colour, lifestyle and Rajasthani cuisine. In the afternoon witness the cultural heritage of the city, unfolding a legacy of its royal past. Stay two nights at Jaipur.
  • Stay at: Nirwana Homotel – Jaipur

Day 13: Jaipur (Breakfast, Dinner)

  • Full day city tour with an Elephant Ride to Amber Fort. Visit the City Palace which houses well preserved costumes and antiques. Visit the Observatory, then make a photo stop at Hawa Mahal.
  • Stay at: Nirwana Homotel – Jaipur

Day 14: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra (Driving Time: Approx 5 hours) (Breakfast, Dinner)

  • En-route stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri, built by Emperor Akbar and now known as a ghost town. The afternoon is yours free to explore the world renowned city of Taj. Stay two nights at Agra.
  • Stay at: Utkarsh Villas – Fatehpur Sikri, Agra

Day 15: Agra (Breakfast, Dinner)

  • Start your day with visit to the Taj Mahal, most loved for its eternal beauty, then to the 16th century Agra Fort and Itimad-Ud-Daulah, built by Mughal Empress Noor Jahan in memory of her father.
  • Stay at: Utkarsh Villas – Agra

Day 16: Agra – Delhi (Driving Time: Approx 4 hours) (Breakfast)

  • After a leisurely breakfast, travel back to Delhi where the tour finishes with a direct transfer to airport.
